Trip to Ovčar-Kablar Gorge

On 9 May, a trip to the Ovčar-Kablar Gorge, one of the most scenic places in the country, known as the Serbian Holy Mountain. It features 11 monasteries and a hermitage in a cave. The program includes a visit to the Annunciation Monastery, the viewpoint at the top of Kablar, a boat ride on an eco-catamaran along the West Morava, and the Nikolye Monastery. In the Middle Ages, over 300 monks lived at Nikolye; it is where Vuk Karadžić studied and where Miloš Obrenović hid from the Turks.
