“How to listen to jazz and express music in dance” — lecture and swing party. An event with Elizaveta Taraskova: a talk on how jazz music is structured, how to find the eighth note, the scheme most swing compositions follow, the difference between rhythm and tempo, and different kinds of groove, plus what to expect from musicians at live-music parties and how to express what you hear in movement. The talk is in English, followed by a Swing Dance Party with DJ Nastya Bulatova. Donation with advance registration via link.
