Dok'n'Ritam — music documentary film festival

The international music documentary film festival Dok'n'Ritam takes place in Belgrade from 24 to 27 September at three venues: the Yugoslav Cinematheque, the SOKOJ club and Dorćol Platz. The programme features films about musicians, scenes and subcultures, along with lectures and concerts. The festival opens with the world premiere of Igor Lečić's Gringo Paulista, about the Brazilian years of Mitar Subotić Suba, a pioneer of Yugoslav electronic music. A short film competition is held for the first time, and there will be a talk about Serbian rock of the 1990s at Sokoj and a concert by Denis Katanec at Dorćol Platz. Tickets for the opening and closing films cost 500 dinars and 400 for other screenings, while the programme at Sokoj and Dorćol Platz is free.
