On Wednesday, 7 October 2026, at 19:00, charitable theatrical readings of the best documentary materials from the media outlet Takie Dela (@takiedela) about life in emigration will take place at Auditoria in Belgrade (Voivode Dobrnjca 48). These are stories about people who left, lost their bearings and familiar reference points, but decided to stay in a new country and learn to live anew; texts about vulnerability, strength and the complex but interesting attempts to find support and one's place in a changed reality. The readings will feature Yulia Graut, an actress and graduate of Gogol School and GITIS who worked at the Polish Theatre in Moscow, and Marina Baboshina, an actress and Golden Mask award winner who performed at the Omsk Drama Theatre and the Krasnoyarsk Youth Theatre. The material will be staged by independent theatre director and screenwriter Sofia Kapilevich, known for her work on the immersive performance 'Idi i smotri' with members of the group Shortparis. Two texts from the programme can be read in advance: 'Good Luck, My Golden One,' a diary of a young man who left in 2022 from mobilization, and 'With the Theatre in a Suitcase,' about how the small cult Krasnoyarsk theatre KnAM moved entirely to France. Entry is 15 euros/1700 dinars/1500 rubles in any currency; you can donate in advance or pay cash at the entrance. The event is charitable: all ticket proceeds go to support Takie Dela and independent social journalism. After the readings there will be a conversation with the editorial team.
