Trip to Vršac and Grožđebal Wine Festival

A trip to Vršac on 20 September, departing from Novi Sad at 07:00 and returning around 20:00. The itinerary includes visiting the Vršac Fortress with views of the city and Banat plain, then attending the Grožđebal wine festival in the city center. Starting at 12:00, the Vršac Carnival features costumed groups, music, dancing, and a parade. At 13:30, the highlight 'Grožđe pada sa neba' occurs: a plane drops small parachutes with grapes and gifts, as stated by the festival organizer. Afterwards, participants can enjoy wine, food, and a fair, with an optional visit to the wine village Gudurica or the city of Zrenjanin. The cost is 60 euros.
