Trip to Kopaonik 5–6 September

An exploratory trip to Kopaonik on 5 and 6 September. Departure from Novi Sad, with a possible stop in Belgrade. En route, a stop in Stopanja, where a festival of roasted meat on a spit (praseće ili jagnjeće) takes place that weekend. At Kopaonik itself there is a mushroom festival, with mushroom dishes on offer. Activities include mountain walks, searching for the cold geyser, and possibly mushroom picking. The cost is 15000 RSD, and it may be cheaper with a full group.
